Idk if anyone's looking, but my 2 are in 18x18x18 Trixie brand. It's perfect size, and def cheapest I found. Mine are babies, and I can tell they're exploring at night and climb on the objects I put in. ❤

I had to put in an 80-watt RHP for my 1st BP, and it's actually heating up the entire room where I keep all my snakes. Im actually very happy it is because I will worry less come winter! My old house is very cold in the Midwest, and it's usually lower than 70 degrees yr round. I was thinking they'd all need a heat panel, but they're gradients are already benefitting from having 1 large panel in the room. Wanted to pass it on, as I can't be the only one with that issue. ❤

Looks alot easier than your zen habitat build ( i think it was zen.) I was going to get zen but after pricing.. toxirium 48x24x24 enclosures, the 2 tank setup with the 2/1 cabinet in the middle AND adding wheels is $20 cheaper than virtually the same setup with Zen and no wheels.... when Zen is 20% off and excluding shipping on Zen. I think im going to go with Toxirium now

I'm glad you listened to your instinct, from my own life experiences watching loved ones and friends I wish they had too. I just wanted to say thank you so much for your help! I’ve been watching your videos to learn so much! I got a blue green iguana and the pet store sent us home with absolutely no information. For starters they sent us home with a reptile tank, 1 light (uva/uvb) and fixture, and mulch like bedding. After getting home I quickly learned that we were going to need to change EVERYTHING. The iguana was so little and wrinkley. The only “do not” they told us was do not buy a heat rock. And do not feed any bugs. She never told me what the temperature should be.. she said ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about a humidifier, and said to feed her lettuce everyday with a strawberry occasionally. We were never informed on any supplements, weekly bath/soaks nothing. This poor lizard was in a small 1x1 fish tank looking enclosure, it had no humidity in its tank and I didn’t even see a thermometer. My heart absolutely breaks knowing that pet stores get by with selling these poor reptiles with no knowledge. Thank you for your time and advice 🤍

no invertebrates tarantulas .but i find them fasscinating ..just keep crickets n dubiias for my crrested gecko, bindi🦎

i know this is a year or so late but they warn to build on solid floor not on carpet for this reason

I am in the process of putting together my first Kage, a 4' x 2' x 2' also, but in black. I found your video in the middle of building and your review is encouraging. It arrived 9 days after I ordered, and in perfect condition. I just stuck now trying to figure out exactly where I want the lights. I wish the top didn't have to be screwed down completely before the doors are installed, but I guess there is a good reason for that.

the recent increase in the morph rates of axolotls is most likely due to interspecific hybridization of A. andersoni x axolotls & not due to tiger salamander DNA in axolotls

the morph trait in axolotls is heavily influenced by environmental factors also

Also, the axolotl x tiger salamander hybrids will not be able to breed like an axolotl on the F1 generation, not sure yet if the F2 generation will breed like axolotls or tiger salamanders

tiger salamander x axolotl hybrids are a way to fix inbreeding in axolotls & to replace all the defective genes that have accumulated in axolotls
